We've learned that not everyone thinks that church should be fun, casual, relevant, creative, and comfortable. Not everyone enjoys having a full band playing live music. Not everyone agrees with the preacher wearing blue jeans. So, ANYONE that thinks their family would enjoy a church that is fun, casual, relevant, creative, comfortable, and has a live band with a preacher that wears jeans - House of Joy is for you!

What Should You Expect?

You can expect an enviroment that has been created to make new guests feel comfortable. You will be accepted whether you've had some, little or no church background at all. We teach the truths of the Bible in creative, compelling and relevant ways, with live music, videos, dramas, and more. You can also expect your children to make you come back the next week after they experience one day in the Clubhouse.

Why we're different?

At House of Joy we realize that most people don't have a problem with God, they have a problem with church. So, we do everything we can to make church a positive experience. At House of Joy we design our Sunday morning gatherings to provide a welcoming enviroment to our guests and a great place for our members to learn, grow, and get involved.

When Do We Meet?

House of Joy meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM & 11:00 AM offering two identical gatherings to choose from. During the week we offer a variety of JOY Groups that meet in families homes through out the community. Come see why so many children, students, singles and parents from Valdosta and Lowndes County are making House of Joy a part of their week. Once you attend, you'll want to make it a part of your week too.

Where Do We Meet?

House of Joy meets inside of Ashley Cinema. That's right we rent out the whole Cinema on Sunday mornings. It will be the most comfortable church chair you ever set in. Ashley Cinema is located at 2812 N Ashley St. just south of Northside Dr.
